took the mach to Cordova Dragway...
to run it with and without the bottle yesterday, and figured I'd post up some before/after timeslips....
It was a hot mo-fo @ 90-something° all day w/ a DA of 34-3600'. Considering that I had run 12.93 @ 105 earlier this spring, on a friday fun night, all motor... I wasn't too happy with my ET/MPH figures today, but the gains with nitrous were obvious. I had started out with 100hp jetting (52/28) and went from 13.4x @ 105 NA to 12.8x @ 114.... later re-jetting the nozzle for 125hp (57/31) and finishing off the day with 12.7x @ 115. Started the day with a full tank of 100 octane/93 octane mix (70/30 roughly), using TR-6 plugs and the 'Factory HP' predator tune with fuel enrichment for the C&L system. A/F NA was in the mid 12's and on both the 100 and 125hp jetting it was 11.8-11.9:1. Bottle pressure started out at 1000psi and was @ 950psi by the end of my last hit for the day. I never did better than a 2.0 60' leaving the starting line NA, off idle, w/ 245/45 555R's @ 16psi.... grabbing second gear, and then reaching down to flip the toggle switch, activating the solenoids for a nice kick in the pants. I was hoping to go and run 12.90's NA and bring back some low 12's... but that'll have to wait until this fall, apparently. I can state, at least, that I picked up .7sec/10mph spraying ½-way through 2nd-on out... -Ryan
