Tail of the Dragon

We are trying to get a group of folks together over on the Registry to drive the Tail of the Dragon on May 14-15.

This is a section of twisties on the west side of the Smokies at Deal Gap.

The plan is to meet in Gatlinburg on Friday and head out Saturday for the twisties which will end at a very nice restaurant and then back to the twisties to return to Gatlinburg.

I'm definately down for this. It sounds like a blast. I checked out the website for Deal's Gap and got lots of info. I can't beleive this stretch of road is pratically in my backyard but I had never heard of it.

It seems to be a motorcycle haven, but it ought to be a nice spree for the ol' Mach 1 too.

The Dragon is a good bike road but can you imagine our Mach's on this road. It is going to be one great run. We'll be looking for you to join us.
