Kind of crappy pics. Overcast all day, tons of rain rolling in this weekend. I've got a sweet spot picked out once the sun comes back out.

I actually fit quite nicely in there. As a matter of fact I fit well enough that I drove all the way back from Grand Rapids, Michigan to my house in it! :shft Including the 2hr detour:rant:, the drive home was a little over 12hrs.
Still have the '71 for now, but it is for sale.

Cool; thats essentially a new car! Serious congrats are in order. I've been looking at mineral gray verts but will have to move some other old habits along first. Pulley, idlers and midpipe in its future?

Thanks! If you want some help looking for the 'vert, let me know. As you probably noticed, they're priced a little higher than the coupes.
As for whats in its future.... :hehe: I always have plans for cars, but its always a matter of time & $$$. This summer I worked my ass off, so I've got the cash, now I just need to decide what to do. Before winter I don't think I'm going to do anything, cause whats the fun in modding a car with snow coming? If I do anything before winter its going to be a midpipe. A certain gnome on here has a MRT for sale. ;)
After that I'm definitely looking hard at a pulley, just not sure how wild I want to go. My dream is to get a KB with around 15-18#s. I want to keep the car street-friendly as this isn't going to be a race car. The KB kit isn't super expensive, so its just a matter of how daring do I feel? :grrr:

Nice! If I had been in the market for a Mustang in '03, a 10th Anniversary Cobra would have been very hard to pass up. Are you planning to keep the IRS or swap it out for a solid axle? If you keep the IRS, a set of Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors and a few bushings for the IRS will make a pretty good improvement in straight line performance.

I do plan on keeping the IRS. This isn't going to be a race car, its going to be a fun car that I can do little things to here & there. I'd like more power, but nothing wild. Thanks for the tips on the parts. I've been doing tons of reading/searching on SVTP & other places to find out whats best. A must is the BilletFlow IRS brace. Most likely I'll just put a pulley on it & be done for a while.
A mod that CANNOT wait is tires. The tires are just about bald so I need to get a set soon.
Nice one Zerk! :thumbs:More Pictures please
Thanks Marty! Ask, and you shall receive(not always quickly though). See post below.

These were taken at Green Lane Reservoir. Great place to go birding, but also makes a terrific backdrop for a lot of other photos.

Oh yeah, heres one of me & my buddies car, an '01 Trans Am WS6. We both have the same mods (shifter, intake & cat-back) so we thought it'd be fun to "make comparisons". ;)
