Gauging interest in a Mach1 event to be held at the Mid America Performance Ford and Shelby Meet in Tulsa, OK June 14-17. Scott Hoag would like to see if we could hold the Bullitt Nationals and a mach 1 event at Tulsa and then continue to hold joint events going forward. As many of you know Scott helped design both of these cars so they are very close to his heart. This event would be separate but equal. If any of you attended the 40th it will be similar. Each group has it's own t-shirts, car show/racing awards and we are coordinating a separate car show and other events for just the Machs and Bullitts. The Bullitt Nationals travels to different events and parts of the country every year so everyone would eventually have one within a reasonable drive at some point (two days or less). By combining our resources we will be able to sustain interest in both models for a long time to come.
