My mach has 25k on it... I started to notice when im parked i hear a slight whining noise. It sounds like the power steering pump is low on fluid, but its not. I can only hear it when im parked, and when i turn the wheel when im parked.

My question is, is this normal? Any imput?

Actually, I've only flown through there on my way to or from Fallon...I work with two guys that were in VFA-41 and they can't say enough bad things about that place!

You're lucky you've never lived here! Not many good things to say about this place...

One thing though, alot of straight roads! :shft

If you bought it new, it should be fine from the factory. Depending on your milage, it is possibly time to change it.

i convert all my fluids to amsoil ... tranz/ps/oil/diff/grease .... i dont remember if i used dextron/mercon or mercon 5.. no shudder or squeal from ps pump.... been using amsoil since 87 GRAND NATIONAL days...l have used it in N/A ,supercharged, turbocharged cars
and other drag only cars including alc. dragsters with 5500 rpm converters and thank god no catistrophic falures ...reduction in friction = hp and tq i'll take all i can get for free........plus the protection of full synthetic [im not a dealer just extremely satisfied with a product] :shft
