It's rapidly approaching that time where I put my Mach into hibernation for the long, cold Wisconsin winter. We had our first freeze last night. I took the car for a ride, and it appears that the ram air really does make a difference. Obviously cold, dry air is good for horsepower on any car, but with the Mach-1 it seems even more pronounced. The car felt so good it was awesome. I almost took it down to Great Lakes Dragaway last night because it felt faster than it ever has since I brought it home. If you put your hand on the inside of the windshield at 65 MPH, it felt like an ice cube, and that ice-cold air was getting supplied to the engine in large doses.
Only reason I didn't run down to GLD was the fact that I was an hour away and it was already near an hour to closing time.. :(
It's kind of an ominous sign when the first freeze is this early in the year...
 <maybe this guy can heat things back up! :bna:
