I have a problem with the throttle getting stuck open.
OK, heres the deal,I have an '03mach1 w/ a K&N air filter,3/4 inch shaker extension, bassani x-pipe and catback, and a SCT tuned chip. Now the problem I'm having is before the SCT,I was coming back from milwaukee, when I noticed the throttle sticking at 4000 rpm.It took me about 5 or 6 "kicks" to finally get the throttle back to normal.anyway, the next day I took the car to the dealership and they replaced the throttle body control valve.about 3 more weeks go by and all of a sudden, same thing.now, the computer wasnt throwing a "check engine" light,so I made sure the cable wasnt hung up,while the rpms were stuck.it wasnt.so,now I have the SCT in the computer and about 1 week later, wouldnt ya know it,throttle sticks at 2500 rpm.I had to turn the car off to get the throttle down this time.

Does anybody have any knowledge on whats going on here?

always had a propblem with all my mustangs, gas pedle siticking. seems they like to catch on the floor mats when i mash them. other than checking mat/carpet around the pedle, i use a shot of silicone spray were ever i can on the cable, pedle, throttle body linkage. just some thoughts of my past experiance.
then there is that hanging rpm issue alot of us had, check the link above.
