 This is another thing that sucks about being away all the time... I just received an email from the wife and the Mach stalled on her twice Saturday WHILE downshifting. Ford has the car now and she said they'll call when they figure out what's up... hoo boy... :(

Thankfully, my better half is pretty comfortable with a manual.
Well, Ford blamed the K&N CAI. I really don't doubt it so they're only going to charge her for the diagnostics and put the stock setup back in for her. I might tinker with it when I get back home. I guess something could've loosened up after the MAF or maybe it was just a dirty sensor... I was running it without the MAF screen so maybe I'll see what it runs like with it in. ...or I might just see if this C&L/MAF setup you guys are raving about works.

Hey Grim...we have found the C&L CAI to be the most tunable of the CAI's out there/ they do make nice gains in HP/T...but what we've really found is the drivability is supurb with it over any of the CAI's we have tested!!

If you want to sell it and get the C&L go for it but I had that happen to me too and I just installed the screen back on ( you can remove the gasket that's around it) and my car has not stalled on me at all since I did that. Give it a try and good luck.

Thanks for the info guys
Well, you'll more than likely see mine up there before too long Lonestar. I wasn't too impressed with the K&N after installation anyway, but I really wanted something to clean up the cluttered engine bay. I still might try the screen, but I dunno... :o
I've got a few months left to mull it over, but I'm liking the C&L setup from what I've been reading so far. Just might have to send one towards Florida and have it waiting... if I can figure out a way to explain to the wife why I want another mod that'll replace one I'd already bought... :hehe:
