can any one be able to tell me the best x-pipe and cat-back exhaust system on the market and the cheapest place to buy from. I read the mach1review and heard the magnaflow was the best cat-back system horsepower wise. Found i can purchase it for 300 from complete exhaust. Now i am looking for the x-pipe. Can anyone help with this information. thanks

I have the SLP offroad X pipe and a weld in magnaflow cat back. I love the way the car sounds, and get complements all the time. It isnt to loud until you step on the gas, but when you do it screams. As far as power gains, they were my only mods besides a drop in K&N air filter and I dynoed 308RWHP & 323ftlbs SAE. If i did it again i wouldnt get the SLP pipe because my car is lowered and it hangs low. I would either buy a UPR offroad or a Mac Prochamber. With the prochamber you dont loose as much low end torque.

I would imagine at our HP level, most of the mandrel bent 2 1/2" systems make about the same power. We're kinda borderline needing a 2 1/2" systm for power under the whole curve.
I chose Magnaflow (X/cats and catback) because it is the quietest of the 2 1/2" systems but still is plenty loud at WOT, and still drones a tad around 2000 RPM. I also don't think latest cat technology costs you any power. Others prefer louder systems or systems with different sound. All the major companies make hi quality systems.
