how do i get the wax build up off the edges of the decals?

i use my finger nail with a micro-fiber, i only use the s100 pure carnuba on the decals. nxt to about 1" or so.

I don`t advise a hammer and chisle. i use a old worn soft tooth brush around the emblems and in the body seams.

How about HCL...leave it on for about an hour and hose it off...no more worries

I actually use a cotton swap...

I got some pretty cool cotton swabs at Eckerds Drug. I imagine any such place would carry 'em. They are for makeup or some such girlie application, but the cool thing is they have one end that is pointed and the other is kinda big and paddle shaped. The cotton is very tightly woven, so they don't fray like a normal Q-Tip (R). They work good for detailing and also for cleaning junk out of the slide rails on a 1911! The fat end holds quite a bit of Break-Free (R) for wiping down the inside of the mag well and such.

If you are embarassed about being seen buying 'em, just get a pack of Trojan Magnums at the same time... :)

Q-tips are the hot ticker, unless its quite a bit of wax, then use an instant detailer, and a femenine hygene product.....

excel if the convention is in your area are you going? you should do a seminare. i sure you could make some good money that way. also if its in the area could i make an appointment to get my car detailed?

Perhaps there are females out there for whom instant detailer IS a feminine hygiene product?

exceldetail it seems the Mach convention may be in California, around July 25, 2005. If you can make it, I am sure everyone will be glade to meet you. You may not have a Mach but you are an important part of the .Org.
