I bought my Mach in Stoughton, Victory Ford--great sales dept, Bad service dept...

Do not EVER bring your car to Watertown Ford!!! They suck in ALL aspects

If you need warranty work done on your Mach 1, go to Waltham Ford. They are excellent

Quirk Ford sucks all around, too...............

just my 2 cents...........

I find it amazing as to how much the dealers can vary in terms of after sales service. I mean they all kiss butt when they are trying to sell you a car. But once they have done that, so many of them treat you like sh_t when it comes to repairs or warrenty work. Maybe it would be a good idea to keep a list of the dealers around the country rated by the Org members, would be good reference material.

Wow!! I grew up in Stoughton!

I live in Norwood now and just bought my 2004 Torch Red Mach 1 from Jack Madden Ford this past Wednesday. I called Victory to see if they had any Mach 1's and '05 Focus' because I bought my wife one.

Do you live in Stoughton?

Someone else suggested what I think would be a good idea in this forum.....to post and rate the quality of local car dealers that you've dealt with...might help some people...

DB...keeping a record of good vs bad dealers sounds like a good thing. I realize that there is some errant variables..but I think with a good data base, one could draw their own conclusions..so with that..here's my dealer list:

1.> Pennisula Ford of Sunnyvale. good sales service....good parts department, friendly folks..nice Service Techs and Writers....but...they are lacking in keeping on top of the latest TSB's and service problems. I had to show them the TSB on the Shaker Rattle..they had no clue...about the Isolators. They deny everything first, then if you are persistent, you can sometimes get them to realize there is a problem. And they do not have a body shop on site, and they are not quality concious at all. They also do not apear to read what the service writers write in the customer service request either. I asked that my car not be detailed or washed...of course they washed it and scrubbed my Halibrand wheels witha brush!!!! yeah I went a bit balistic over that one.....I'm not too happy with that.

I am getting ready to take the Mach in for some waranty issues such as the passenger head rest coming unglued (What's up with that?), the carpet by the dead peday is peeling up, my throw out beraring is getting real noisy and the front control arm busings are making dreadful noises yet again.....This time I am going to take her to Dublin Ford on recomendation of Tim here on the list....Fortunately around where I live, there are several Ford Dealers...Frontier Ford and Swanson Ford...haven't heard a bad thing about them at all..but I have not been to theior service either...Anyone else have experience with them?

I can't say Beach Ford here in Virginia Beach is great because they did do something to tick me off once and their parts dept. sells everything at suggested retail(no real deals!)...and I have yet to go back since my last bad encounter.

that one time will not change the fact that with my current list of mods I took it in for warranty work and my 5000k mile check-up...they did not ask one word about any of my Mods...that in itself is awesome!
