Found these rims on crossroadzdirect.com and liked them for their sizes (17x9 & 17x10.5) and for the chrome look. Thought I would get them and have the inner areas painted the same dark grey as the original rims. What do you guys think?

I put a set of chrome 18x9's w/ blk inserts on my mach and it looks awesome. The wheels are AFS and from what I've heard, they're hard to find in that size. You can find the wheels I'm talking about on mach1registry.com, but they're 17".

I dont know how the stock rims ever came to be referred to as replicas. The only thing they replicate is ugliness. The original wheels on the sixties Mach's were beautiful. You can find them replicated very faithfully today.....Just be prepared to pay dearly for them.

I would agree that the org wheels look great and that if you're after that look you should check out the wheels Classic Design Concepts has to offer. I was going to post a picture of my Mach w/ the wheels but my image is too large. Email me if you'd like to see a pic.

To much bling bling for me. Worst thing I saw this week going to a car show a Azuze blue Mach with a moon roof cut into it. Somethings are just wrong.

I personally like the chrome finish better than the machined finish that our factory wheels have. I just don't know about have them painted...it would look fine, but I have heard of people having problems with paint flaking off. If you get them done, I'd like to see them after you've driven around on them for a while and washed them a few times. If they hold up, whoever did yours might get to do another set in black:D.
