Looks like the new 4V head design & Navigator intake cams work pretty damn well:

Both my engines had ~ 700 miles on them when I tested, and were bone-stock - right down to the paper filter & intake silencer/snorkle.

Runs were done ~ 2 years apart (for obvious reasons), but it is the same dyno.

No wonder the Mach 1 stock feels like my '01 did with the 4.10 gears installed!
There's lots more torque down in the lower RPM's, while nothing is lost up-top until 6800 rpm.

I wonder how this thing will respond to a few "minor" bolt-ons.... :D

Keep in mind also- the effect of the shaker scoop is not really going to show up on a dyno, so there's more up top when running down the 1/4 mile. :shft

Times from tonight:

Run 1:
60'..........2.114
1/4........13.462
MPH.....104.43

Run 2:
60'..........2.060
1/4........13.433
MPH.....103.81

My 60' times could have been better, but I'm pretty pleased considering I'm running the car completely stock - right down to the paper air filter & stock tires.

I'm pretty sure I could get a 13.0xx with more practice & better 60' times. :D

With a good set of drag radials, I might even break into the high 12's... :shft

Excellent! You have me by a few tenths, My MPH is almost identical but I am still learning to launch on the stock tires.

Make sure you edit your profile to reflect those new numbers.
