It was a pretty fall day today, and I broke free from the homelife and went for a drive. Stopped by my work to visit my detail guys, then headed across one of the back roads to the other side of town. 2 way'd a good friend from the club, stopped and visited with him for an hour or so ... continued across the backwoods, to the other side of town. Did some shopping, checking out the beautiful sunset tonight. Cruised up to the Mitsubishi dealership and saw a friends Vette sitting there, so I stopped. He had left our dealership to go to work at this place ... and I thought I'd hit him up about a job. :D

So I'm sitting there, car idling, all the salesman come out to check it out. Thought it was pretty cool. Then David & I both look down at a huge stream coming from under the car. Both reach down touched it, smelled it, and said 'antifreeze'. I hurried up and shut the car off, and popped the hood. It had spewed antifreeze every where. Don't know from WHERE though. When I got the car, I noticed it had looked like it leaked something all over the engine bay. I wonder now if the cap is working its way loose or something ... So I limped the car home to sit in the driveway til I can get it to the dealership Monday. *sigh*

Glad I didn't try to go to Charleston today as planned :rolleyes:

That's not Good way to end your day..Hopefully it will be something simple to fix.

Sorry to hear that Donna... Maybe it's just something minor.
Be careful about starting the engine if you have lost a lot of coolant. Maybe take a look under the hood once things have cooled off and look for something obvious?

I thought I saw your car was just in the shop, but I dunno what for..I wouldnt put it past them to have not put a coolant line back on tight or to have bumped it partway loose prying on something else.

Well, after I was doing being sick most of the night (I crawled in & out of bed a few times) LOL and after I wrote a book, I took the car to run some errands. It seemed to be fine, wasn't leaking. They are still gonna look at it tomorrow though, and I'm gonna make them look at the squeaky seat too!
