Anyone have any plans?

I was thinking of going to a show in Charleston ... but I'm waiting to hear if it is an indoor, or outdoor show. If it's indoor, I'm not going. My paint looks worse under fluorescent lights. If its outside, I might take a last minute road trip.

If I stay home, I will probably be making shirts, and snuggling under a warm blanket with my laptop.

Anyone got anything fun planned?

Our chapter of the SVTOA (I KNOW) that I also joined is going on a country cruise to the Texas hillcountry where we can actually see Trees with Leaves that change colors just like the Northeners have...Kinda rare in south texas though

Should be a really good time

Alex, you ARE a diehard! Glad you got the car back, told ya you had nothing to worry about!!

Today was kinda crappy to go racing, supposed to be a lot of us at GLD tomorrow. Let me know if you plan to show...!

Okay, NEW plan....last minute notice of a wake that I need to attend on Sunday afternoon in Lake Geneva. What's the chance that GLD will be running in the morning? I was going to go this afternoon, but it was drizzling by us...was GLD open today?

That means I have to go sight in the deer rifle on Tuesday and then head up North a day early, so that I can get the wood stacked before hunt begins. I hate it when things just don't come together.

With all the running around I did today, I didn't even get a chance to drive the Mach. How 'bout it Greg, will we be :shft in the morning? Aaaargh, I got to get back on to the track that bit me, or I'll go :thud: all winter and then might scare myself from getting back on the track:confused:

BTW, they never evenonce asked me what happened, not one question at all!

I just checked six different weather sites hoping one would give me a little hope :(

I was gonna call there but was waiting to see your reply. You're the one that changes the GLD website anouncement any way??? I can make it this morning if anyone else will be there, otherwise in the afternoon I have to skip out due to the wake stuff....I do know that I need to take the Mach for a spin, as the insurance is closed for it after today...

Hope to see ya later:shft

I hate to say it but... :(

At this moment, the humidity at GLD is 100%. Fog/Mist/Drizzle.

Does not look good. I have been told a final decision will be made by 11:30AM, but don't hold your breath.

Sigh, looks like this is it for 5 loooooong months... :( :(

Aaargh:(

I had some business in Sturtavent (F & F) and so I figured I had to drive by GLD just to make sure and sure enough there was wet stuff all over. I normally wouldn't take the Mach, but I had some really bad "joneses" for "just in case".

Only good thing I found at the Gove was gas at the corner Citgo station still had the premium for $1.65, so I filled the tank for the storage season. Now all I have to do is wait for a sunny day so I can do a final clean and wash.
