View Full Version : windows leak above the mach tweeters

anyone have this problem? they have replaced the rubber insert that meets the window and it still leaks. taking it in again for the e-brake boot tear and they are going to pull the windows in. any info would be great.

Sounds like the window needs to be adjusted so it will seal better against the weather stripping.

only leaks when i wash it..only about a couple of drops but still it bothers me .. only started maybe 3 months ago :confused:now i have a some sort of rattle in the back i think it's my speaker blown out :mad:

My '03 has a drip when I wash it so I am as careful as can be when hosing it down, never use a pressure washer :p .
The windows make a sort of creaking sound when rolled partially up, wierd. Anyone else?

my window will makes a little nosie going up ... b/c of my tint (only when the window is dirty though).

Had same trouble. Started with creaking sound.
Ford put new window strip, stoped leak,also replaced both window motors.
This makes second motor for driver side 1st one went out around 4000 miles
now have 9000 miles and had to have both replaced.
That makes 3 motors and car is 10 months old.



Having trouble with seat cover coming apart ford ordered new cover be here in a couple of weeks any body else have this trouble?

Mine has always leaked, but only in a car wash. I haven't been in any really hard rain and I rarely get caught in the rain.
