View Full Version : Mach-1 screensaver

I have created a screensaver with all Mach-1's from member pix. It's basic, and I would like more and better pix for a new one, but this is still better than nothing, so download it and let me know what you think. If you have dialup, it's going to take a LONG time. Broadband users will be set in a minute or two. It is an .exe file because I have packaged an installer program for Windows. It is 100% safe, no worries, I wrote this file.

I have the original screen saver I built for Mach 1 Registry last year, and a new one I just sent over to Dave this weekend. If you don't mind, I'll post a link for them as well ...

Of course I don't mind...!

What I would like for us to do, is get a good mix of all colors of Mach-1's, and perhaps get some pix of Machs on-track; at the dragstrip, the road course, a winding mountain road, on a road along the coast, know what I mean?

Hey Greg,
Saw both a new 04 Yellow, and a Competition Orange on the 805 South, the Yellow got off at the stadium exit :cool: The Yellow actually looks pretty good too. Not as dark as I'd expected. Sorry no pics! Kinda hard talkin to the guy goin down the freeway at 75. He was really happy with his MACH, but wanted my exhaust:hehe:

Mach1Saver.zip is last years screen saver I made for Mach 1 Registry.

Mach1 Slideshow is just a slideshow of Mach pics.

Mach1 2003.exe is this years screen saver, made up mostly of members rides from Mach 1 Registry.

Tim, your pix are VERY well done, If you put together a collection of them, I will make you a custom screensaver. In fact, anyone else who wants a personal SS for their computer(s), let me know, I'll fix you up...!

What kind of program is needed to create a screensaver? I want to make or have one made with pics I took of my Comp Orange Mach. any info would be appreciated.

If you upload your pictures to your members gallery, I will be happy to create a screensaver for you that you can download from this site. I will package a windows installer script into to it so you should have no problem making it your default screensaver.

There is UPLOAD PHOTOS link on the main page of the website. Click it and follow the instructions, should be easy to do. If you need assistance, please ask...

Do you want me to make a saver out of all of those pix in your gallery? or would you rather take some shots of the car in some nice surroundings? Let me know what your wishes are and I'll put something together for you....

Upload your pix to your gallery, then link to them in this thread, in the order you want them displayed. I'll put a screensaver together for you...

Ok Marlon, your screensaver is avaliable to download. It is a 4MB file, so if you do not have broadband, it will take a long time to download...
Rightclick and select "save target as"

http://www.imagelocker.net/sonic/sonicsaver.EXE

Run the installer once downloaded, it should work fine. If any problems, let me know.

Please reply when you have downloaded it so I can remove the file from the server.
